\ud83c\udf93 When Theory Becomes a Real Solution<\/strong><\/p>\n

As part of his bachelor\u2019s thesis in the Mechanical Engineering program (specializing in Plant Engineering) at Emden University of Applied Sciences, Mattes was part of our team for about four months.<\/p>\n

The topic of his thesis:
\n\u201cDevelopment of a mathematically sound calculation tool for designing cooling sections in wire extrusion lines<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

The goal was to calculate and transparently visualize the minimum required cooling section length up to the first deflection, as well as the total cooling length, for specific customer requirements. Various cooling methods, cooling media, and temperatures can be flexibly combined.<\/p>\n

A particular added value of the solution lies in its expandability: The tool can now also be used for foam lines and jacket lines and features a material database that can be expanded as needed.<\/p>\n

This marks another important milestone for professional, customized, and 100% customer-oriented system design at Kurre.<\/p>\n

We were particularly impressed by how independently, systematically, and with such technical depth Mattes worked. He not only familiarized himself with the subject matter but truly grasped the underlying concepts and created a sustainable solution.<\/p>\n
