Future Day 2026

Gruppe aus 22 Kindern und 2 Erwachsenen vor einem Gebäude

What’s a typical workday like at KURRE?
Yesterday, 22 young people got the answer to that very question.

During yesterday’s Future Day, we opened our doors and offered insights into the world of metalworking, specialized machine manufacturing, and IT.

Touching, trying things out, asking questions. That’s exactly what it was all about.

After a welcome from Volker Autmann and Joshua Menke, the day began with a tour of our company. First impressions, lots of questions, and plenty of curiosity included.

Afterward, the group split into small teams and visited various stations:

Here, they screwed, assembled, and contributed ideas—from putting together extension cords and bottle openers to an IT quiz and designing components.

For lunch, we served hot dogs and cold drinks, before our HR Manager Volker Autmann shared further insights into our company.

To wrap things up, everyone relaxed with a game of foosball. Here, the participants competed against each other and brought the day to a close together. With many new impressions to take home and a small KURRE farewell gift, Future Day came to an end.

A special thank you goes to our trainees, who supported the day with great dedication and played a key role in its success.
