Say goodbye to start-up scrap – the intelligent bypass control system makes it possible.
The KURRE team has developed a new bypass control system (BCS) that significantly reduces start-up scrap in the production of data and high-frequency cables. With this system, cable manufacturers can easily start up a foamed cable at the ideal operating point, e.g. when starting up a new production run or after an interruption (wire break, etc.). This is possible because the BSC allows every melt pressure value within the extruder to be set precisely. The melt is not pressed through the crosshead and therefore the process parameters are already in a stationary state at start-up.
