Apprentice Event 2026

Gruppe von jungen Erwachsenen in einem geschlossenen Raum.

Seven apprenticeship programs, three escape rooms, and a whole range of different strengths! That’s exactly what made this year’s apprentice event so exciting.

We headed to Oldenburg with 23 apprentices and 5 instructors. The teams were randomly assigned, bringing together apprentices from different departments, trades, and years of training.

The group included mechatronics technicians, metal fabricators, technical product designers, precision mechanics, IT specialists, electronics technicians, and office management assistants. It was particularly exciting to see how the different interests, perspectives, and skills strengthened the teams: While some discovered clues, others tinkered with solutions or contributed entirely new ideas.

In the rooms “Curse of the Pharaohs,” “Muriel’s Legacy,” and “Richie’s Surprise,” communication, creativity, and team spirit were essential. Not every solution was immediately obvious. Here and there, a little hint helped. In the end, all three groups successfully solved their rooms.

We wrapped up the evening with pizza and burgers. For us, an apprenticeship isn’t just about building professional knowledge—it’s also about growing together and building connections across professions and departments.
