Langer Tisch an dem viele Männer sitzen

The most recent meeting of the Interessenverbund Saterländer Unternehmen took place on April 28, 2026. This time, the event was hosted by the Ramsloh Fire Department. The meeting was very well attended and once again provided an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs from the Saterland region to exchange ideas and network.
The event focused on two particularly relevant topics in the areas of youth development and volunteerism.

School and Career Guidance: New Project at HRS Saterland
Mr. Langemeyer, a teacher at HRS Saterland, presented a new career guidance project together with Ms. Lüken, a career counselor.
In the future, students will undergo a profile analysis to better understand their individual strengths and interests.
HRS Saterland is deliberately taking a practical approach:
In collaboration with local companies and trainers, the aim is to convey the realities of working life in a realistic and engaging way. The goal is to give young people early insights into practical activities and career opportunities in the region. The association wholeheartedly welcomes this project and views it as an important investment in the future of the regional job market.

Ramsloh and Scharrel Fire Departments: Commitment to Training and Volunteer Work

In the second segment, Matthias Schulte provided a detailed account of the diverse tasks and services performed by the Ramsloh and Scharrel fire departments. In addition to operational readiness, the focus was particularly on training and long-term retention of members, especially in the youth fire departments.
A key priority is the opportunity to train and employ fire department members and young people in local businesses. This initiative receives strong support from Saterland companies, which are aware of their responsibility toward volunteer work and the region.

Guided Tour of the Fire Station
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants were treated to an interesting guided tour of the Ramsloh Fire Department’s vehicle garage. This allowed them to view the fleet, technical equipment, and emergency response resources up close.

The association extends its sincere thanks to the Ramsloh Fire Department for their hospitality and open dialogue and looks forward to continued collaboration in the region.
